Information and prices

Arrival/Departure
The hand-over of the keys on your arrival, and their return on your departure, are by appointment since the owner does not live on-site. If you expect to be late, please inform us immediately by phone so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Arrivals are normally at 17:00 (5pm) and departures at 10:00 (10am) (Saturdays for La Ferme and le Fournil, Sundays for La Varenne). Access road maps are available on the Region page. Booking
Upon request, we will mail you a Rental Agreement (contract), or we will e-mail it to you in the Adobe Reader format. Should you wish to book, just return two paper copies of the contract signed along with 25% of the rent for the desired period.

Housekeeping
At the end of your stay, please make sure that the house is left in the same state of cleanliness and order as when you arrived. If more cleaning is needed, we will have to charge your deposit for it. We can also take care of the final cleaning for an additional price, but this service should be booked well in advance for us to make arrangements. If you would like us to clean the house during your stay, please see with us beforehand. For stays partially or wholly in July or August, the final cleaning service is not included and compulsory.

Insurance
As stated in the Rental Agreement, tenants should check with their insurance company before departure that they are covered for any risks associated with vacation house rentals. If necessary, you will have to take out a specific insurance policy for those risks. The owner will be provided with any valid proof that such a coverage exists.

Internet
Wireless broadband access is available in La Varenne. Wired broadband access is available in La Ferme (RJ45 ethernet cable available on request).

Linen
The rental price does not include linen. If you bring your linen with you, you will need square pillowcases and sheets (see the description of the houses for bed sizes), as well as towels. We can also provide linen for an additional price. This should be booked well in advance in high season.

Location and maps
La Ferme and le Fournil are situated between Périgord Pourpre and Agenais, on the famous Circuit des Bastides. La Varenne is located in the Dordogne valley, between Bergerac and Sarlat.

Period
The houses can be rented year-round. Swimming pools are open in season.

Pets
Pets (dog, cat, etc.) are not allowed on the property.

Prices
Our rates are weekly rates, namely from Saturday 5pm to Saturday 10am, except if we agree differently. La Varenne is rented from Sunday to Sunday. In summer, some fortnights cannot be rented as separate weeks. Prices include all costs, including electricity up to 60kWh per week. For la Varenne, heating fuel is extra. A (modest) tourist tax calculated from the number of adults must be paid to the municipal council; it will be charged to you upon your arrival. Our low- and mid-season rates are very attractive! Be sure to check them.

Television
All of our houses have a TV receiver with at least the French channels TF1, France 2, and France 3. La Ferme and Le Fournil have satellite dishes which provide better reception as well as other channels including one additional international channel.
